Meet Marc Walker

Marc Walker is a 27 year veteran with the North Carolina Highway Patrol and has served in Mecklenburg, Catawba and for the last 14 years right here in Lincoln County.

Marc is a 1979 graduate of Gardner-Webb University having obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English.

While a student/athlete at Gardner-Webb he was a four-year starter for the University football team and was a Captain on the team his senior year.

He is a founding member of the NC Highway Patrol Interstate Interdiction Team (1991) and a founding member of the NC Highway Patrol Mobile Field Force Team (2000). (Riot Control and Civil Disturbance)

Marc is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for East Lincoln Fire Department where he and other board members oversee a yearly budget in excess of 1 million dollars and protect the fire district of East Lincoln.

Marc is married to Glenda Walker and they live in Denver, NC. Glenda is the Director of Elementary Education for Lincoln County Schools and they have one son, Logan, who attends North Lincoln High School.
