Marc Walker Announces Candidacy

DENVER, NC – Marc Walker, a career law enforcement veteran with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, today announced his official candidacy for Sheriff of Lincoln County.

“It is an honor to announce my candidacy for Sheriff of Lincoln County. I know that our campaign has something to offer all citizens of Lincoln County. Most importantly, we must win back the public trust in our elected officials,” Walker said.

Walker, a Republican from Denver, says that his conservative philosophy and dedication to fair and reputable law enforcement will be something that voters will be looking for in this election.

“My campaign is not about what has happened in the past, but rather, looking to the future and adapting our local law enforcement to better suit the needs of a growing county,” he said.
