Walker Raises $2,000 in First Month of Campaign

DENVER, NC – Marc Walker, a career law enforcement veteran with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, who announced his official candidacy for Sheriff of Lincoln County earlier this month, said that his campaign has already raised in excess of $2,000 in its first full month of seeking donations.

“We are proud to have raised what is essentially double our initial goal in the first month of campaigning,” Walker said.
“Early fundraising is a key indicator as to how viable our campaign will be in May and November. Our supporters represent all areas of the county from East, to Lincolnton, to West and it shows how competitive we will be.”

Governor George Allen at Lincoln GOP Headquarters

Former U.S. Senator & Virginia Governor George Allen to be Featured Guest at Lincoln County Republican Party Headquarters on Saturday Morning

LINCOLNTON – The Lincoln County Republican Party and the North Carolina’s 10th Congressional District Republican Party is sponsoring a morning coffee and donut reception for former U.S. Senator and Governor of Virginia, George Allen, at their headquarters located at 217 South Academy Street in Lincolnton on Saturday, January 23rd, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.

The public is invited to meet Governor Allen and local candidates for office.

Marc Walker Announces 10-10-10 Campaign

DENVER, NC – Marc Walker, a career law enforcement veteran with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, who announced his official candidacy for Sheriff of Lincoln County last week, said that his campaign is launching a new way for voters of Lincoln County to have a say in who their next Sheriff will be.

“Last week, an editor of one of the local papers called on candidates for Sheriff to be truthful, act with integrity, and keep good company as they run for office and I could not agree more,” Walker said.

Campaign Adds Phone Line

DENVER, NC - The Marc Walker for Sheriff Campaign announed today that it has added a campaign office phone line in order for voters to reach the campaign with any questions that they may have about Marc or the campaign.

"I want to make sure that voters can reach us now and once I am elected Sheriff," Walker said.

"It is not enough to simply put up a website or send an email. I want people to know that I am available," he said.

The new phone number for the campaign office is 704-479-1803.
